Midwinter Recap 2025

2025 Midwinter Training Conference

Recap by Janvi Singh

From February 21st to 23rd, Key Clubbers elected to serve as the 2025-2026 Lieutenant Governors (LTG) on the New Jersey District Board gathered at Camp Lebanon for the annual Midwinter Training Conference—a weekend dedicated to leadership development, training, and new beginnings.

This event is vital for lieutenant governor-elects, guiding them through their transition into their new roles and providing first-hand insight into what it means to serve on the New Jersey District Board. Through engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and examples from current board members, LTG-elects gained a deeper understanding of their responsibilities while developing skills needed to lead their divisions effectively. One activity was committee shadowing, where the elects got a first-hand look at how different committees operate and contribute to the district’s success.

Beyond leadership training, Midwinter helped to foster a sense of community. The elects connected with each other, forming lasting friendships. Whether it was bonding over late-night discussions at a bonfire, team-building activities, or simply sharing experiences, this weekend reinforced the idea that no one will be alone in their service year as lieutenant governors.

As Midwinter 2025 comes to a close, the elects leave with newfound knowledge, inspiration, and motivation. Our goal for the Midwinter Training Conference is to ensure the elects are ready to serve and make a lasting impact on the New Jersey District.
