Dear Key Clubs of Division 16,

Hello! My name is Maya Williams and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Lieutenant Governor of Division 16 for the 2017-18 service year! I am currently a junior from County Prep High School. I truly look forward to working with you all this year and strengthening our division.

Since my freshman year of high school I was a general member of Key Club. As time went on, I began to value Key Club a lot more and wanted to become more involved. I wanted to be a bigger part of Key Club so I decided to run for Lieutenant Governor. The thing I enjoy the most about Key Club is that it enables students to serve their community. I believe that there is nothing better than seeing the positive impacts that we can have on others just by devoting a little bit of time to helping them. Key Club also builds character and strengthens leadership skills which is definitely key to our futures.

Aside from Key Club, I am involved in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), Girls’ Leadership, Math Honors Society, and Student Council. Though it may seem like I take part in many additional extracurriculars, I will make sure to keep my duties as Lieutenant Governor at the top of my list of priorities.

I will do my absolute best to ensure that we as a division have a rewarding year. My goals for this service year include but are not limited to:

Please keep in mind that I am here to assist each of you with matters regarding your clubs, the division, and our district. I encourage you all to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have. Feel free to email, call, or text me. I look forward to a wonderful productive service year with you all!

Yours in caring and service,

Maya Williams
